Low Profile Heavy-Duty GrassFlap with SE Pedal Includes Scag No-Drill Mount

The GrassFlap is the ideal OCDC, operator controlled discharge chute. The foot-operation allows the user to close the discharge chute at any time, any place without taking their hands off the mower’s controls.  The GrassFlap can fit most zero-turn mowers.

Features

  • Hands-Free operation
  • No handles or levers to get hung on limbs and shrubs
  • Most Drop-on baggers will fit with GrassFlap installed

What's Included

The kit includes everything needed to install and operate the GrassFlap. This includes the a flap that mounts to the discharge opening, 8 inch flap mount, the SE Pedal, a 70 inch cable, Scag no-drill mount and all mounting hardware needed for installing (optional mounting hardware available under accessories, see link below). 

The SE Pedal has the cable exit the pedal parallel to mounting surface.

Installation

Assembly is required.  Modification to blocker plate size and shape may be required for best fit on some mowers.

Accessories are optional hardware that can make installation easier or eliminate the need to drill your deck. Available for limited number of brands. The link below will take you to the page showing the accessories.   Accessories can also be found under Shop>Accessories.

I was expecting something easier to install

Fast dispatch and delivery, the blocker itself got me head scratching while trying to install it. The video on the installation instructions are from an older model so things were different and confusing to me. I got half way through the install and threw in the towel, felt like I was wasting time trying to decipher what I was meant to be doing.
I also wasn't expecting an acrylic blocker that I'd need to cut and bend into shape. I probably would've completely finished the install if it was the metal blocker and not acrylic.
