PROKUT Small Forged Axe, 0.9 KG, 460 mm With Fibreglass Handle And TPR Rubber Grip

The smallest axe in the PROKUT range, sometimes referred to as a hatchet orTomahawk is packed with features for safety and comfort during use. The axe head isforged from high quality carbon steel with the cutting edge hardened and temperedto 48-52 Rockwell. The head is bonded into place with industrial strength resinglue for the tightest possible fit, the head also has a protective varnish coatingfor minimal friction and maximum corrosion/rust resistance. The handle ismanufactured from high quality fibreglass (>60%) / polypropylene composite forultimate strength, and features Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) handle grips forcomfort, abrasion resistance and strength. A second specially designed TPR insertprotects the handle from incidental impact near the axe head. The axe includes ahandy and clever retail display hanger which covers and protects the cutting edge.
